Chinese Super League may Added in FIFA 17?

Just as our prvious article , FIFA fans are longing for the leagues which  included in FIFA 17. We can see that there will be tons of demands from game players from Asia since many professional footballers have moved to those region. Pro players like ex-Chelsea player Ramires, ex-Londoners Paulinho and Gervinho among many others have settled in China for professional football.

Football development and market is growing significantly in China. There has been growing demands for top European players and Chinese Super League clubs are willing to shell out the money. EA may join Chinese league into the world’s most popular football game FIFA series. It is reported that EA has received the licenses from Chinese Super League sides Shandong Luneng, Guizhou Renhe, Beijing Guoan and Chinese and Asian champions Guangzhou Evergrande.

With the growing demands from current FIFA 16 players, EA could consider adding the Chinese Super League to FIFA 17 Ultimate Team. Or if not adding the entire league, at least make the most popular players available in the usual “Rest of the World” section on FUT 17.

We say this, as the Chinese Super League is now starting to become a superpower of football and this has just been justified with the confirmation of Alex Teixeira’s transfer to Jiangsu Suning.

This is an excellent player who is on Ultimate Team at the moment for Shakhtar Donetsk with an 82 rating. The problem is that as the way things stand, Teixeira won’t be available on FIFA 17 Ultimate Team unless EA make this change.

While fans will likely be excited at the thought of playing as Chinese sides, EA Sports face a challenge in the form of competitor Konami.

Do you think that the Chinese super league will be added in upcoming FIFA 17?

Lional Messi Might not be the Cover Athlete for FIFA 17

FIFA 17 is expected to be out sometime in September 2016 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. And FIFA fans are really expect the information about FIFA 17. Lionel Messi has been the face of several EA Sports’ FIFA video games right from 2012, but new reports suggest that he will not be on the cover of FIFA 17, which could instead feature someone new.

Ever since he signed a contract in 2012 with EA Sports, Messi has been one of the regular faces in FIFA games. In fact, he was featured in FIFA Street, FIFA 13, FIFA 14, FIFA 15 and FIFA 16 video games, where he shared space with other athletes in some of the covers.

But gamers might not see his face on FIFA 17 covers, claims a report on L’Quip, a French newspaper that revealed the 2012 contract with EA Sports will be ending in 2016.

The report also suggests that Messi might not extend his contract and the company might be looking to infuse a new face to the franchise. The other top players from the Spanish League, Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo, may not get to the FIFA 17 fold because of their long association with Konami. PES 2016 had Neymar as its cover athlete and Ronaldo was in the PES 2008, PES 2012 and PES 2013 cover.

One name that has surfaced is of James Rodriguez, the 24-year old Colombian and Real Madrid midfielder. His face could bring in some new energy into the game. Another suggestion for the cover athlete was Sergio Aguero, the Argentine and Manchester City forward.

We can only wait and watch if EA Sports will sign a new long contract with another footballer or if it will place some new and upcoming stars every year.
